Job Profile Summary The Senior Production Analyst/Accountant, working under general supervision, is responsible for conducting and documenting complex production accounting assignments, leveraging data analysis for informed decision-making, conducting thorough reviews for precision, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards within the Production Accounting function. Analyzes and records accounting transactions related to operated production and reports volumetric data to regulatory agencies. Collaborates with other team members, interacts with internal and external stakeholders, including Operations and Field personnel and regulatory entities. Responds to data requests, prepares reconciliations, maintains accurate records and other regulatory responsibilities. Job Description * Applies understanding of principles, theories, and concepts of production accounting to master data set-ups and analysis, volume allocations, reconciliations, and reporting of company operated production. * Conducts a thorough monthly review, adjustment, and validation of allocations, ensuring precision and accuracy in production accounting processes. * Identifies, diagnoses, and recommends solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of assigned production accounting processes, supporting continuous improvement within the Production Accounting function.
