Passionate about developing people and building high-performing teams? We're hiring a Plant Trainer to join our team in Bloomington, Indiana!

Our Plant Trainer role is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that enhance workforce capabilities, promote safety excellence, and support operational goals across the facility. If you enjoy coaching others, creating training content, and driving continuous improvement through learning and development, this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on our workforce.

This is a day shift position reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your Day-to-Day:
  • Safety Leadership & Culture Development - Promote safety awareness and support a strong culture of safe work practices through training and employee engagement.
  • Training Program Development - Develop and maintain training programs, work instructions, One Point Lessons, and other learning materials that support operational goals and employee growth.
  • Learning Management System Administration - Manage training assignments, training records, and completion tracking through Workday Learning and other training systems.
  • New Hire Onboarding & Employee Development - Lead onboarding efforts, conduct skills assessments, and provide coaching and support to associates throughout their development journey.
  • Continuous Skills Development - Support plant-wide skills development initiatives and partner with leaders to identify and address training needs.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership - Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, supervisors, and leadership teams to build workforce capability and improve performance.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Requirements:
  • Age: Must be 18+ years old
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience
  • Assessments: Must pass drug screening and background check
  • Internal candidates must demonstrate Core Values and be in good standing with no disciplinary issues

Preferred Skills
  • Training, coaching, and facilitation experience
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Manufacturing process and safety knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and learning management systems
  • Ability to organize multiple priorities and work cross-functionally

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, navigate the production floor, wear required PPE, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
