Dominium is currently seeking a full-time Spring 2027 Construction (Self Perform) Intern to join us at our Dallas Regional Office. This is a full-time, on-site internship starting approximately January 7, 2027 and ending approximately May 21, 2027.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis beginning late September 2026. Initial interviews are expected to begin in early to mid-October 2026, and we anticipate completing the majority of hiring decisions by late November 2026 for Spring 2027 internships. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Construction Intern - Self-Perform will support the Construction and Architectural Services department by assisting with project management tasks, document audits, and system development. This role will work closely with senior construction staff and contribute to maintaining accurate project records, improving internal processes, and supporting day-to-day operations. The intern is expected to uphold Dominium's policies and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  1. Assists with construction project management tasks, including reviewing contract exhibits, preparing submittal lists, and coordinating lien waivers.
  2. Supports invoice processing by reviewing with the Construction Project Manager and uploading to Procore.
  3. Performs quantity take-offs to support budgeting and estimating efforts.
  4. Helps develop and maintain systems and databases, including unit cost tracking from change orders.
  5. Audits and organize project documentation in Procore and Legal Hub, including submittals, RFIs, contracts, change orders, drawings, specifications, and closeout documents.
  6. Maintains milestone date tracking within Procore and/or Workfront.
  7. Collaborates with team members to ensure documentation accuracy and support project closeout processes.


QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training and Experience.)



  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare spreadsheets, and assist with cost estimation for projects and purchases.
