Executive Director - Cardiovascular Services

Provides executive leadership for Mercy Fort Smith's Cardiovascular Service Line across inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and physician practice settings. This leader will partner closely with cardiovascular physicians, operational leaders, and executive leadership to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, financial performance, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and patient experience across the continuum of cardiovascular care. The role provides oversight for key areas including Cardiac Rehabilitation, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Specialty Clinics, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.

Qualifications:

• Required
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field required.
  • In lieu of a master's degree, candidates with a clinical degree/background and significant progressive leadership experience will be considered (examples include Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiovascular Technologist, Cath Lab Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or other related clinical disciplines).
  • 3-5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
  • Experience leading cardiovascular service lines that include one or more of the following: Cardiac Rehabilitation, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Specialty Clinics, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.
  • Experience partnering effectively with physicians and executive leaders.
• Strongly Preferred
  • Leadership experience within a physician practice or ambulatory clinic setting.
  • Experience in cardiovascular service line compliance and regulatory requirements.
