Maintenance Worker

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Minimum 3 years maintenance/janitorial experience
• Valid Arizona driver's license w/ a clean driving record
• Must successfully pass a PTM background check
• Have basic skills in maintenance, repair, construction, plumbing, HVAC, & landscape
• Computer literate
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains all facilities, equipment and grounds in a clean and safe condition at all times.
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with regular inspections and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Notify supervisor of critical maintenance issues as observed while maintaining facilities.
• Assist with support for all special and program events as needed.
• Assist with pickup, delivery and distribution of donations & supplies as needed.
• Comply with all PTM, OSHA, fire and safety rules at all times.
• Assist with the maintenance of accurate files and records of all maintenance projects.
• Maintains and repairs facilities and equipment as directed.
• Responsible for the corps landscaping including lawn, trees, bushes, gravel upkeep, sidewalk and walkway clean up, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach with hands and arms on a continuous basis. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to operate a telephone, copier, computer and/or time clock.
