Program Manager - General Internal Medicine

The Department of Medicine, General Internal Medicine is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Program Manager to support the planning, development, and execution of program operations in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day program activities, coordinate strategic initiatives, manage deliverables, and support continuous program growth and success.

Key responsibilities include program planning and implementation, stakeholder communication, staff supervision and training, financial oversight, grant writing, and ensuring compliance with UCLA, state, and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills, and effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners to achieve program objectives.

Annual range: $90,720.00-$190,040.00

Required:

• Ability to work independently and also have interpersonal skills to work with teams, provide training, and supervise staff 1+ years' experience of supervising laboratory personnel and operations.
• Exceptional writing skills to produce wide range of documents and deliverables.
• Experience communicating effectively and professionally and working with a variety of internal and external partners, including UCLA administrators, outside funders, policy makers and community representatives.
• Strong organizational skills to successfully work on and track complex programs involving short deadlines and multiple tasks, in coordination with multiple teams to achieve program/project mission and goals.
• Working knowledge of program/project development, evaluation, creating datasets, financial management and reporting, research principles including CITI training, grant writing and proposal submission, University procedures and policies, program/project related federal and state regulations.
• Ability to seek out and learn new policies, procedures, and software to advance the mission of the program/project.
• Ability to train new program/project managers and other staff within and external to the unit.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate medical, policy and administrative information in English.
