Job Description Shift: Night Schedule: 11 PM to 7 PM; 2/2/3 rotating schedule Pay: $23.00 Shift differential: $1.75 Position Summary: Extrusion Operators are responsible for maintaining the quality of material being produced by continual adjustments of gauges that control extruder speed, temperatures, pressures, and winder speeds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create and distribute all production job packets for all presses. Review all production orders for completion and accuracy, and ensure all orders arebalanced with respect to production hours. Proficient in SAP using several functions to track performance rates and yields. Proficient in Excel to create trend charts for Production metrics Track Safety engagements and update Safety charts monthly Qualifications Qualifications 1 year of manufacturing experience Forklift experience Must know process equipment, tooling, and procedures to set up, operate, and maintain equipment/work area in a safe, productive manner. Basic math, reading, mechanical, and analytical skills are required. High awareness of safety and ability to analyze and solve production facility problems. Frequent standing, walking, and bending. Pushing, pulling, lifting weights over 30 lbs. Eye/hand coordination.
