Job Duties

• Inspect steel parts for quality throughout the manufacturing process.
• Check bends to confirm they are within required parameters.
• Inspect welds against specifications.
• Evaluate paint quality and identify visible defects.
• Inspect work in progress and finished parts.
• Document inspection results and report defects or concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Work with production employees to address quality issues.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing quality control or steel fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to read measurements and compare parts to specifications.
• Familiarity with bend tolerances, weld specifications, and paint quality is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with production teams on the first or second shift.
