Assistant Operations Manager (56727)

American Furniture Rental (AFR) is looking a for an Assistant Operations Manager for our warehouse in SW Houston, Texas.

Salary DOE $70,000- $72,000. per year. Must work prior in a warehouse.

The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for planning and directing activities of the residential and commercial segments. Must delegate work with respect and foster teamwork and AFR culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Kitchen and Linen department oversight
• Pick, prepare, and ship orders and transfers
• Work with and monitor residential and commercial delivery teams
• Oversee the picking of residential and commercial orders
• Quality control inspections of completed orders daily
• Training with delivery teams and pickers
• Handle calls from delivery teams regarding residential and commercial orders
• Work with Operations Managers to schedule and route trucks
• Inspect and approve the Triaged furniture going into racks or out on orders
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

• Degree: Bachelor or Equivalent
