Salary & Compensation

*UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications

  • Minimum of four years of experience in a highly constituent-driven environment, preferable in donor engagement or providing project/administrative support to a senior level executive in higher education or related field such as sales, marketing or business development. (Required)
  • Experience providing a high level of customer service and responding to inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner; ability to deliver exemplary customer service to a wide variety and level of constituents with tact, diplomacy and mature judgment. (Required)
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically partner with executive management, volunteers, and faculty and work effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization. (Required)
  • Strong background in time and project management including identifying and setting priorities, setting needs analysis, identifying stakeholders, developing action plans, segmenting projects and initiatives into their component parts and managing the process from inception to completion. (Required)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong understanding and ability to develop and sustain collaborative and dynamic relationships with a highly diverse and wide range of internal and external constituents. (Required)
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills to interact effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of internal and external constituents. (Required)
  • Demonstrated high level of personal integrity, discretion and diplomacy; skilled in using sound judgment in situations requiring independent initiative and tact and in handling confidential matters and sensitive information (Required)
  • Ability to work with speed, accuracy and attention to detail, highly organized with a strong ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities. (Required)
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented self-starter, proactive and able to work equally well independently and collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining an upbeat and positive attitude. (Required)
  • Creative and resourceful with ability to work efficiently in a large, complex organization. (Required)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; confident in making decisions and adept at managing many perspectives, solving problems and working toward successful outcomes. (Required)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft suite of applications as well as familiarity with other database, spreadsheet, scheduling and email applications; willingness to learn new programs and applications in a prompt and efficient manner. (Required)
  • Working knowledge of External Affairs, Development, University, and campus organization and principles, policies and procedures.. (Preferred)
