Palo Verde Behavioral Health is searching for an experienced Manager, Psych/Social Servicesfor our Inpatient Therapy Department. Come join our Team!

Palo Verde Behavioral Health has a long-standing reputation for stability in mental health and substance use treatment, serving patients in and around Tucson since 1960. We offer individualized in-patient and intensive outpatient treatment programs for adults and adolescents.

Under the direction of the Director of Clinical, this position provides management and direction for the Clinical Services Department in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Department. This position is responsible for the clinical leadership and coordination of patient flow and staff productivity in the Clinical Services Department. As a key team member in the Clinical Services area, this position promotes a climate of effective performance through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff. This position organizes, and coordinates intern services and will assure intern quality.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Master's Degree in a mental health field plus 3+ years of hospital experience. Licensed in the State of Arizona and LPC, LMSW preferred.

Experience:

  • Thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Social Services/ Therapeutic Services with demonstrated ability to use skills in clinical and managerial situations.
  • Management/leadership experience of a multiple disciplinary team.
  • Preferable experience working in a Clinical Services/Social Services department in a Psychiatric hospital setting.
