Core Engineering - Sourcing Manager V Onsite 3 days per week in Farley Approximately 5.5 months About the Role Meta works with a global network of vendors who supply human-annotated data supporting its AI research and product development. We're looking for a highly organized sourcing and program professional to support vendor onboarding and contracting execution. You'll be the connective tissue between Meta's sourcing managers, business partners, and vendors-moving each engagement from selection through to a signed contract and a live program, while supporting ongoing supplier management and compliance once the program is live. Key Responsibilities Partner with stakeholders across Meta to execute sourcing and vendor management for GenAI data annotation and collection vendors. Lead contract negotiations that optimize value for the company. Manage vendor performance and governance in collaboration with the business. Provide market intelligence and sourcing updates to leadership. Minimum Qualifications BS/BA degree. 4+ years of outsourcing or strategic sourcing experience, ideally in technology or AI domains. Demonstrated success negotiating complex contracts and managing vendor relationships. Strong commercial negotiation skills across multiple levers beyond rates, including: Volume discounts Quality thresholds Speed to quality Service levels Program management experience working with business stakeholders, cross-functional groups, and third parties. Highly organized and structured thinker, with the ability to synthesize complex information into executive-ready summaries. Experience running RFIs and RFPs. Experience in pricing analysis and benchmarking using Google Sheets and Excel. Ability to support sourcing managers with: Deal coordination Agreement execution Managing TPAs (Third-Party Agreements). Preferred Qualifications Experience sourcing annotation services for ML/AI or large language model development. Experience managing high-volume data annotation sourcing programs. Experience working with BPOs, crowdsourcing/freelance platforms, and boutique data vendors. Experience breaking down vendor cost models and ROI drivers. Prior experience at Google, Amazon, OpenAI, or Apple. Additional Supplier Notes The updated minimum qualifications specifically emphasize: Running RFIs and RFPs.
