Machine Operator

We are currently hiring specifically for 3rd shift (10pm-6am).

Role & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the previous mixer operator at the beginning of the shift to discuss the doughs currently being mixed.
• Scale ingredients one dough at a time using small scoops, accommodating up to 5 lbs. of ingredients per scoop.
• Load 50 lbs. bags and 60 lbs. buckets of ingredients into the mixer, with assistance load up to 100 lbs. buckets of reclaim dough.
• Scale ingredients for the next dough according to the dough schedule.
• Use mixer controls to smoothly transfer the dough into the dough trough.
• Communicate any issues promptly to the appropriate Supervisor or Manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Production Superintendent and Supervisor.

Sanitation:

• Ensure cleanliness of the work area.
• Always follow proper Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P.'s).

PAN-O-MAT OPERATOR SECOND SHIFT ONLY! 2PM-10PM

ROLL PAN-O-MAT OPERATOR THIRD SHIFT ONLY! 10PM-6AM

Requirements & Physical Demands

• Basic literacy skills, able to read and comprehend instructions, signage, warnings, etc.
• General knowledge of machinery operations.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Reading and writing proficiency.
• Capability to keep up with machine speed through repetitive motion.
• Able to lift to 60 pounds without assistance, up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
• Able to stand for 10-12 hours per day.
• Physically capable of moving to all areas of the plant.
• Able to visually assess product adherence to quality control standards.
• Familiarity with reading and comprehending production schedules.
• Adherence to necessary safety procedures and signs.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Potential ability to work all shifts and weekends.

Physical Demands:

Standing for approximately 90% of the scheduled shift, lifting, bending, and twisting on a regular basis; lifting to 60 lbs. and 100 lbs. occasionally with assistance.
