Description Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our customer in Sauk Rapids, MN Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned. Perform complex set ups and operate mill, lathe and/or router to machine flat and formed parts to inch and metric specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings Evaluate and justify new tooling and machining processes Work from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specifications to identify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivity Maintain logs and other necessary documents Determine sequence of operations when necessary Perform first article of inspection when necessary Assist others with machining problems Shift: Mon-Thu (1st shift, 5am to 3pm Monday - Thursday) Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School Diploma 3-5 years of CNC Machinist experience Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Can perform basic set-ups on multiple machines Ability to train CNC Operators and Machinists I on routine tasks Developing proficiency with complex setup Ability to perform intermediate troubleshooting procedure Proficient with part inspection techniques (comparator, profilometer etc) 2-year machining degree preferred Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
