Objective

The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for achieving volume targets through outbound efforts to expand the company portfolio and broker database. In addition, there is an expectation to maintain and grow existing relationships.

Responsibilities/Duties

    Generate sales opportunities by leveraging lead lists, individual networks, attending events and organic calling activities to build a portfolio of broker relationships.
  • Leverage broker relationships to obtain credit applications for prospective borrowers.
  • Process applications in accordance with company guidelines and coordinate with brokers and customers to obtain necessary financial and ancillary information when required.
  • Work with the Managing Director to monitor broker performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Effectively work across departments to ensure a seamless borrower and broker experience.


Essential Functions

While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to operate a computer terminal with repetitive motion. Physical requirements of this position are considered sedentary work involving preparing documentation, preparing, and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, and resolving inquiries. Some amount of mobility to access files, attend meetings, both on and off site, and perform property inspections is necessary. The employee is expected to converse with internal and external customers and exchange information.



Knowledge - Skills & Abilities

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in related industry, preferred.
  • Self-motivated with strong written, organization, time management, and communication skills.
  • Basic ability of operating computer (PC) is necessary including Work, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn various company software platforms and CRM systems.
  • Comfort level of interpreting financial data from company reports.
