We are currently seeking a Concierge Manager to join ourExperience Management (JLL) team.Lead with Excellence: Become Our Next Concierge Manager and Elevate the Experience at Omaha's Premier Fortune 500 Company! The main functions of the Concierge Manager are to provide outstanding guest experiences in a customer service setting by courteously greeting all tenants and visitors to the reception desks and serve as a guest services resource for the tenants and visitors to the property. Additionally, the Concierge Manager will act as an exemplary leader for the concierge team. Reception
- Courteously greet all tenants and visitors to the reception desk
- Signing in all authorized visitors according to the policies, rules and regulations established by building management and/or tenants, ensuring all guests have been authorized to enter
- Contact tenants in courteous and professional manner when a guest is not pre-registered
- Answer and respond to tenant phone calls and e-mails for assistance throughout the day
- Aiding in booking seats or rooms on Outlook and/or online workspace reservation system (or other applicable workplace management system), including helping people at the Buildings find locations, reserve desks, find other people at the Buildings, see desk locations, and read and use floor plans.
- Provide guidance and information as requested from tenants and visitors to the building
- Ensure familiarity with building management and security protocol, directing any issues to the appropriately designated management
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key employee and tenant contacts at the property and proactively investigate all events occurring or hosted by the property
- Perform walkthroughs of the lobby, work floors and meeting rooms at the Buildings to ensure furniture, workstation equipment and meeting rooms (including meeting room technology) are in order and working, including walking of work floors daily to assist people at the Buildings and check on rooms and spaces
- Maintain service alert awareness and report any security issues to the designated security and/or management parties
- Ensure work and reception areas are neat and orderly with all personal items stowed away (eating and drinking not allowed at work areas)
- Acts as an exemplary employee in all situations
- Is knowledgeable on and abides by policies/procedures, building SOPs and leads GSRs accordingly
Technology Support
- Provide general support of workstations, including assisting with initial set-up, troubleshooting (for equipment that is not working), and reporting equipment that is missing.
- Providing initial startup help / troubleshooting with meeting room technology.
- The concierge team will understand the basics of connecting laptops/devices, starting a meeting, and using the technology in meeting rooms (including Microsoft Teams Rooms)
Management
- Assists HR in recruiting and onboarding efforts for 3 Concierges.
- Train new permanent and temporary Concierges
- Actively observe team performance while working with them
- Coach team members in the moment to correct performance
- Compose and administer concierges annual reviews
- Create and maintain concierge staffing levels and schedules
- Always encourage a positive and professional team environment
- Participate in meetings regarding building operations as requested
- Any additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3-5 year experience in luxury hospitality, high-end retail, fine dining or related field
- Minimum of 2+ year supervisory experience
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Desire and ability to lead-by-example
- Outstanding people skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to think quickly and efficiently when confronted with a client requests
